South Florida’s biggest and most exciting inaugural Day of the Dead 5k RUN & TACO, TEQUILA & BEER FESTIVAL will be hosted at Gulfstream Park! One exciting day, 2 major festivities!!

**TACO, TEQUILA & BEER FEST: 12:30PM – 7:00PM

Come dressed up and ready to celebrate Day of the Dead, a special and cultural tradition of celebrating your loved ones a La’ Fitness and Foodie style…not to mention delicious tequila and beer options for those 21+.

Day of The Dead 5k Taco & Tequila & Beer Fest will be a day of fun for the whole family! Festivities will include, 5k Run leading into the Taco, Tequila & Beer Festival, that will feature live music, Tour of the Altars and Catrina/Catrin Costume Contest among other things! There will be a 5k Official Runner’s Altar for Participants to decorate with special messages for their loved ones for those participating in the 5K Run.

Non Profit Partner Pets Broward

Pets’ Broward is a private, non-profit organization whose mission is to create a community which no longer kills adoptable shelter pets and where all pets and people are valued and treated with respect, kindness, and compassion.

We safeguard, rescue, foster, heal, adopt and advocate for animals in need while inspiring community action and compassion on their behalf.
We provide services that decrease shelter intakes, as well as help pet owners in need.
We promote the humane treatment of animals through education, advocacy, and other services.

A donation of $1, $10, $100, $10,000 or anything in between, will have a huge impact on these events and on our non-profit partners

Race Day Schedule

8:00 am – Race Day Registration Opens
8:00 am – Pick Up Bibs / T-Shirts
10:00 am – 5k Start (Wave Start: Adult Timed – Adult Untimed – Youth Timed – Youth Untimed)
12:30 pm – Awards and Enjoy the Festival

12:30 – 7pm – Taco & Tequila Festival (Entrance at Pegasus)

Race Day Packet Pick Up

Race Day Packet Pick Up will begin at 8am onsite (Gulfstream Park)

Pre Event Packet Pick Up

There will be an optional packet pick up prior to race day 2018 details TBA.

Event Day Parking

There are a few small lots on site at the Gulf Stream casino. If you are an early riser then these lots may have space for you. VIP parking lots are $5 for the day and due upon arrival on seabisquet trail and federal highway (Parking cash only). For the majority of participants please use the Gulfstream garages and parking lots that are free of charge.

How to get to Gulf Stream Garage and lots

VIP parking will be at the back at the Pegasus statue where the race will start (limited spots) for a fee if $5 each car.

Free parking garage and lots are located at off of federal highway on Breeze way (garage) and morning name (South lots)
